Q: How to profit from the stock market?

Ok. There are many strategies out there...all of them are designed to cope with the uncertainties and to make money from the stock market.  One of the simplest is to follow the trend.  However, even this simplest strategy is not so simple to execute . Basically, you want to be "in" when the market is moving up, AND , you want to be "out" when the market is down.  Therefore, you want to be in the market as long as the trend is UP. And you want to stay out of the market as long as the trend is DOWN.

The next question might be...how to tell if the trend is Up or Down??  We would address that as a seperate question.
